ABOUT THE NEW ENGLAND CENTER FOR HOMELESS VETERANS

The New England Center for Homeless Veterans (NECHV) not only provides shelter for veterans, but offers so much more than that. We have designed a comprehensive program focused on offering a transition from homeless to independent, from unskilled to skilled, from illness to health. All of the barriers to independence are addressed with the goal of helping each homeless veteran transition from homelessness to self-sufficiency in 18 months.

Our staff of case workers, clinicians and educators complement the housing and food service staff to provide a safe, secure environment, where military discipline is employed, and where veterans help veterans.

We are the oldest and largest center of our kind that is focused on homeless veterans. We are a clean and sober facility. We have helped more than 16,000 veterans in over 20 years, and most importantly, we are successful.
