This past fall, a group of film school students from Emerson College here in Boston, produced for NECHV a short video, as part of their assignment for a class called "Community Media" in which students produce short video documentaries for community-based non-profits.
Bob Nesson, an Adjunct Professor at Emerson leads the class, and arranged for his students, Sarah Aaskov, Katherine Shearon and Albert Carpenito to produce the following video, which captures a few of the stories of the veterans currently being served by NECHV

With our country at war and the number of homeless veterans predicted
to rise, Calliope—Boston’s collaborative choral /
orchestral group—hosted a benefit performance for the New
England Center for Homeless Veterans on Saturday, February 16th.
All musical pieces performed that evening related to the theme
of “Battle and Peace.” The concert took place in Cambridge
at Sanders Theatre, Memorial Hall—a facility built in honor
of civil war veterans.
