Donate Your Vehicle

Donate your used car, truck, boat or recreational vehicle

Become part of a great cause by donating your used car, truck, boat or recreational vehicle to Donation Line in the name of the New England Center and Home for Veterans! Donation Line accepts most vehicles, even if they don’t run. It’s easy and convenient; and you’ll be eligible for a tax deduction!

Why donate my vehicle?

It’s much easier to donate your used vehicle than it is to sell it yourself. And the tax savings might be even more than what you would receive from a trade-in. Your donation will go directly toward supporting the programs and services provided by the New England Center and Home for Veterans.

Q: What can I donate?
A: Cars, trucks, motorcycles, vans, boats, jet skies, snowmobiles, motor homes, buses and even air planes. It doesn’t even have to run. Remember that you must have a clear title.

Q: Is my donation tax deductible?
A: This organization is a non-profit corporation, so your donation is tax deductible. Since each case is different, it is best to consult your tax advisor for details.

Q: My car hasn’t run in years?
A: It still has salvage value and therefore will provide us with more funds.

Q: Is there any cost to me?
A: No, Donation Line pays for towing your vehicle.

Q: What do I need to do to make a donation?
A: Have the title to the vehicle with you when you call.  Answer a few questions about the vehicle, fill in the odometer reading and sign the title and then schedule a pickup time. You will be contacted by Donation Line‘s towing agent within two business days and receive a tax donation letter in 6-8 weeks. That’s it!

Q: When can I call?
A: Donation Line operators take calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Q: I live in a small town, can you still pick up the vehicle?
A: No problem. Towing service is available nationwide.
